Alberto Bilenca, Ph.D.

Alberto Bilenca received his Ph.D. degree at the Technion (Israel) in 2005. Then, he joined Harvard Medical School, Wellman Center for Photomedicine, and was appointed as a research faculty member in 2006 jointly with a Marie Curie research appointment at the EPFL (Switzerland). In 2009, Dr. Bilenca joined Lehigh University, where he is leading the Biomedical Photonics Laboratory. Prof. Bilenca is the author of more than 70 peer-reviewed articles, and is the recipient of the Rothschild Fellowship and the Marie Curie Award. He is an editorial member for the OEEE journal and serves in the OSA CLEO program committee.
